Yorkshire Shimshal-Malangutti Expedition
This seven-member team gave up their projected objective of Pyramid Peak in the Malangutti glacier area in favour of climbing two peaks (5,200m and 5,550m) near the Corner Peak and the unclimbed peak shown as 5,800m on the map (but probably c5,550m). Corner Peak and Shiffkitten Sar were observed and an extensive photographic record made of the area.
