The Kashmir Himalaya 1981
The Kashmir Himalaya 1981 5-man expedition led by Stuart Hepburn, basing itself at Tshringmad up the Cholong valley from Panikhar, climbed the E summit of Retsheriah (5,180m), turned back at 5,790m on the unclimbed E ridge of Pt 19590, but reached the summit of Bobang Peak (5,600m). Two members later climbed N 9, a 6,120m peak at the head of the Derung Drun Glacier.
