The Cambridge Expedition to the Bara Shigri Glacier

A 4-man team led by Paul Cooper, spent a month studying the heavily moraine-covered snout of the Bara Shigri, a source of the River Chandra, making a photographic survey for comparison with previous maps and obtaining climatic data to relate to glacial fluctuations. No mountains appear to have been climbed.
