Salimor Khola Expedition
Due to its remote location and the challenges of access, the Salimor Khola valley in the Api Himal of far western Nepal is home to a number of unclimbed peaks over 6000m. This team of four travelled to the area with the aim of assessing the climbing potential and making the first ascent of one or more of these peaks. Between 22 - 30 October, Ramsden and Miller succeeded in making the first ascent of Surma-Sarovar (6574m) via a 2100m line on the mountain's north face. They descended via the east ridge. Glenn and Frost made an attempt on a nearby 6100m peak but were forced to turn back just shy of the summit due to dangerous snow conditions.
