Rolwaling Climbing Trip

Due to sickness, the party acclimatised separately, with two teams of two both reaching the summit of Parchermo (6187m), passing each other on the glacier in the process. Despite having their tent raided by ravens, White and Morris, after patching their tent and taking some spare food from advanced basee camp, went on to climb an impressive, hard and committing route on Linku Chuli II (6659m), reaching the NW summit via a ridge that splits the mountain's north and northwest faces. They proposed the name Dreaming of Rotisserie Chicken? and suggested a difficulty of ED2, M6, WI3, 2,500m. Meanwhile, Sharpe and Holdsworth climbed Takargo East (6152m) by the unclimbed east face, continuing along the ridge to Takargo (6771m) on previously unclimbed terrain. After three days of climbing, they reached the point where the ridge met the main body of Takargo and elected to retreat due to sickness.
