Project Light and Fast - Patrasi
This team of three, the first all-Nepali team to receive an MEF grant, made the first ascent of Patrasi Southwest (sometimes referred to as Kande Hiunchuli Northeast I, 6521m) on 12 June 2024. This is the highest of the three Patrasi peaks - Patrasi North (6471m), Patrasi Southwest (6521m) and Patrasi East (6450m). The team climbed the mountain via the the northwest ridge of Patrasi North, crossing its summit (second ascent) before traversing the intervening ridge to the summit of Patrasi Southwest.
