Kenya Himalchuli 1955

The expedition ran into issues with both the weather and their porter team and were forced to abandon their attempt on Himalchuli (7893m) after Arthur Firmin broke his femur falling into a crevasse. Although he was immediately evacuated, Firmin died before arriving at Pokhara British Mission Hospital.
