The Hong Kong Mountaineering Expedition to Lamjung Himal
This expedition, mostly composed of army personnel, made the first ascent of Lamjung Himal (6982m) via a route up the mountain's east ridge. The first ascent was made on 25 April, with two further parties also reaching the summit during the course of the expedition.
