Harvard Karakoram 1955

This party from Harvard University travelled to Pakistan with the intention of exploring the peaks around the Chogoliza Basin. However, after a short recce of the glacier, they elected instead to focus on the nearby Ghondakoro which they found less forbidding. Alongside ascents of five peaks (including two above 6000m), the party also carried our surveying work and botanical research.
