Cambridge Staunings Expedition 1972

After travelling to Mestersvig, the expedition undertook the walk-in to base camp, arriving on 19 July. Here they spent four weeks conducting their scientific programme, which included radio-echo soundings of the Roslin
glacier and the Roslin-Dalmore glacier junction. The expedition also undertook a number of ascents in the course of their work.
