The Cambridge Ornithological Expedition to the Himalayas 1973
The majority of the expedition travelled overland to India where they met up with Dick before continuing on to Nepal. From a base camp just north of Kalopani, they spent six weeks studying the migratory habits of the region's birds, about which there has been much less scientific reporting compared to other populations.
