British West Karakoram

A lightweight, alpine style eight man mountaineering expedition to the Karakoram. The objectives are to climb up to ten unclimbed peaks in the Naltar valley area, just off the Hunza valley. Also, a face route will be attempted on Shani Peak (5,885 metres). All mountains are below 6,000 metres, and in a compact geographical area. All expedition members are present members of the Imperial College Mountaineering club.
