British Saipal Expedition
This six-member party did not succeed in their main objective of climbing Saipal (NW Nepal) by a new route from the east, but they did carry out a first reconnaissance of the NE side of Saipal, reaching 5,700m on the NE spur, and also travelled through the little known region of Humla.
