British Altai Expedition
Unusually bad weather prevented this four-man team from achieving their objective of a first ascent of the NE face of 20th October Peak (4,167m). Instead they climbed the N face of Ak-Ayuk (3,770m), Bielukha (4,506m) by the normal route and traversed Delone (4,200m), up by Tomsk ridge, down by E ridge.
