Ampleforth College Himalayan Expedition 1977
After arriving at base camp on 15 July, the team established two camps on Kolahoi, before an assault team made an ascent of the peak in a push from Camp II on 21 July. In the subsequent days, they dismantled their camps and enjoyed some local sightseeing before returning to Dehli and, from there, London.
