1975 North of England Himalayas Expedition

An overland expedition which split its time between the Hindu Kush range and the area east of Kulu. In the Hindu Kush, they experienced fine weather and, using maps developed by Jerzy Wala, succeeded in making the first ascents of several of the area's peaks. They travelled on to India in August and found the monsoon season still in full swing. They established base camp near the Tos glacier in September and the weather started to improve near the end of that month. They made the first ascents of three peaks: Tiger Tooth, Angdu Ri and Rinzing.
