Cambridge Mount Kenya Afro-Alpine Expedition
Basing themselves in the Teleki Valley, this undergraduate team from Girton College, discovering that there were no melt-water streams on the Lewis Glacier, altered their objective to the channel morphology of the Teleki River. Data were collected on the diurnal heaving of the soil and other soil patterns, but the length of the equatorial night inhibited their planned night field-work.
